Second time we rented this property and as always it was very clean and well stocked. If I had one small complaint it would be the rain shower head. Although very relaxing it was hard to shower in. Maybe adding a handheld shower head also. Once again thank you for a great stay. 😊

Loved my cabin ! The owners did a great job with the updates and renovations. Look forward to coming back in the warm weather to take advantage of the outdoor facilities and hanging by the esopus creek.

Truly amazing ❣️ The cottages are the perfect size, well-decorated, SO clean, and have an incredible view of the Espopus Creek. Their Magic Meadow is too cute and is a fun lil' stroll for humans and pets alike. Close to Phoenicia, Woodstock, Kingston, and other Catskills locales. We will absolutely be back!

Wonderfully scenic location overlooking Esopus Creek (river) with the sound of the babbling water and Fall colors of the mountain behind. Cottage clean cozy with cool interior design touches. King bed very comfy. Short drive to Woodstock, Phoenix Diner and countless trails. New gas grill provided and new outdoor sauna facility which we missed out on...next time! What could have been better? Hmmm...when it comes to eating in, the 'breakfast bar' and 4 stools in the kitchen may not work for everyone. There is a large picnic table outside however.

Die Lage ist grandios! Man fühlt sich mitten in der Natur, die Nachbarn sind weit genug weg, sodass man Privatsphäre hat. Im Haus ist alles da, was man braucht. Es ist sehr schön und gemütlich eingerichtet . Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und hatten eine tolle Zeit. Sogar ein großer Grill und die Möglichkeit für Lagerfeuer (gasbetrieben) mit Stühlen ist da. Nichts. 😁

This was the absolute best!!! My family had the best time. My dog even loved it there. The cabin was beautiful and clean and modern. Decorated beautifully. Would love a second bathroom but even that wasn’t a problem. The outdoor fire outs and bbq’s were fabulous as well. Love that there was enough for everyone. We will definitely be repeat customers.

Our stay at Eagle House was great :) the house is newly refurbished, clean and stylish. The property was very special with so many outdoor spaces and activities to enjoy. The Sauna was definitely a highlight! In the afternoon the dappled sunlight comes through the trees and fills the sauna with extra warmth, it's actually quite magical. We look forward to coming back again!

Our stay at the perch was so enjoyable. From the way the cottage is decorated to the grounds which were better then expected! There is a lovely area called the magic meadow It has chairs and hammocks and a gas grill! further down is a great beach area to enjoy the creek. There are also chairs and hammocks down there too! And as an added bonus there is a sauna that has a lovel view of the creek.Any communication with Erika were answered promptly. I would highly r eccommend the Perch cottages!

I stayed in Cottage 11 or Heron for four nights with my pup. We wanted to get some rest and relaxation and we got exactly that! The cottage was clean, beautifully decorated, and well appointed! It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable! The enclosed porch was really nice to sit in and read magazines and do some research for work. It was pleasant to hear the creek from the porch and even overnight from the bedroom. Speaking of the creek, my dog had an absolute blast running along the shoreline, and swimming and retrieving sticks from the water. He also thoroughly enjoyed rolling in the sand so much so he made it from the seating area all the way down to the water! The lawn areas were great to walk in and explore. The amenities like the fire pits, hammocks, sauna and outdoor shower are also a major plus! The surrounding area had enough to do or enough not to do depending on your likes. We like the outdoors and there are plenty of hiking and biking trails around. We took advantage of the Ashokan rail to trail system and stopped for a treat at the Bread Alone Bakery (highly recommend the chocolate chips cookies and health bread). The Perch provided everything we were looking for as part of our getaway and we would highly recommend it! Erika was very helpful in answering questions and making our stay everything it was! The only suggestions I have is an outdoor spigot with a hose attached to wash down sandy feet (and dogs) would be helpful in keeping the cottage clean, as well as screens in the enclosed porch windows since it can get warm in there. We really didn’t want to leave and hope to have another stay sometime soon!
